The more you have, the greater the loss
Possessions foster fear and distrust
It's hard to discern who's genuine
Friends may only want benifits
Suspicious, wary of strangers and potential dangers
Surrounding yourself with like minded neighbors
Gated communities removed from society
A perpetuation of inequality
Filling the hole with consumer goods
It keeps getting deeper with each new thing bought
Entitlement becomes governing law
Leaders elected for promising walls
Security force to hassle the poor
Protecting property and abusing their power
Flashy stuff that draws attention
Makes you resent their desperation
Honesty is hard to come by
When everyone's jealous of your money
Your car, your house, the clothes you wear
Make you question who really cares
Media generated steriotypes
get you judging in black and white
Fearing those with ugly clothes
All the poor are criminals
Surrounded by entitlement
your life becomes a competition
Losing touch with humanity
to build a fleeting legacy
Charity is supremacy
You can't help those you can't see
Kindness comes from guilt
easing self doubt
Evidence of goodness
measured in the dollar
Building a self image of altruistic giving
Looking down your nose with fear, disgust, and judgement
Condescendingly helping those poor creatures
Never getting to know them as human beings
We can't truly help each other unless we're willing to give everything
Get down in the dirt, dance and laugh, and sing
Understand other's issues as if they're our own
Eliminate divisions, invite them to our homes
Without desperation there's joy in sharing
We can only be free when we let go of possessions

Heaviest thing I’ve heard all year along with Altarage. Okay I’ve been listening to this record for the past two weeks and it just gets better and better. Dissonant grooves galore Jacob Ballance
