Modern living, the american dream
Work to death and leave your kids in debt
Everyone can own blue jeans
But we can't afford the rent

Look away from the blood stains

We'd rather pay to lock people in jail
Than feed and pay for their health
Joy can't be found, filled with such hate
System of competition, stifling change

The lives ignored and the support for war
Destabilized the world for cheap goods and labor

Ignoring our families, ignoring our neighbors

Dystopian nation, steady erosion
A fresh coat of paint stalls real solutions
Illusion of democracy to redirect animosity
Controlled by the oligarchy, manipulated through marketing

Vthelygmia is not as brutal and remorseless as the bandname and album cover would make you think - it goes far beyond that. These 28 minutes feel like being slaughtered, hacked to bits, gutted, and fully disintegrated afterwards. A wild combination of influences, you will hear elements of black and death metal, deathcore (especially in the excellent production and vocal department), some disturbing ambience and slight touches of doom.
